But what's the answer here? What is being suggested is to run the club at a loss in the hopes of securing promotion. We've been down that road before and its why we ended up in a mess.

That's not the point though is it as those aren't the reasons they gave for not letting us have the match against Fulham. The reason they gave was the pitch not being able to cope.

I've just had a look. Man City do indeed have some season tickets for £299. That's if you want to sit in rows X to SS in the third tier behind the goal! The cheapest on the 100 level, the equivalent to the Ricoh, is £500 in the family stand behind the goal.

At some point aren't we going to get in trouble for this? FL regulations state we must have primacy. Now I know they don't stick to the rules that often but if other teams start complaining about games being moved for rugby what will happen?

So we can't play a pre season friendly as the pitch won't take the extra use but there's no problem with this :jerkit:

My first thought was Dion but the more I think about it Wise wouldn't have stood for some of the performances that have been put in this season.

It'll be a lot harder to retain than it was to win in the first place. They've got to try and hold onto their players and will also have a lot of extra games. And of course as champions they will be the team everyone wants to beat. They could easily end up more like Blackburn than Man City.

Probably a couple of weeks after the first match!

Is the infrastructure still in place for cashless? The problem with that idea is they would have to pay ACL for everything fans purchased.

Didn't they do something dodgy with the sponsorship? Sell the rights to a third party at an inflated price or something like that.

They were discounted when we first came back and then kept at the same level this season. Or something along those lines. The last season in L1 before we left had this pricing: compared to this season:

I've purchased one but its a new season ticket not a renewal. You can definitely log in so try it and see if you can get your normal seat. There's loads of seats not available to me so they have already marked the ones for renewal.
