Indeed we are and Sheff Utd should have been at least a point and probably all 3 for us. You just can't win with fans though. Many posters calling for Armstrong to be dropped as he 'hasn't done anything of late,' 'is off form,' 'is tired.' As soon as we are losing in the game and not creating...

And just to conclude, this 'bad' run has left us just 4 points off top place. I think some need a great big dose of reality. 4 points of top place is still a great place to be and as I say, we now have the January window to try and strengthen the squad further. Still all looking very rosy in...

Not quite fair on Oldham. They have lost just ONE away league match all season. I think there are far too many way, way OTT deductions and conclusions on here. Armstrong needed a rest. When would have posters rested him if not today? We had 2 games in 3 days, changes had to be made. Look...

No way. In no way to blame for that goal.

    New goalie needed

People were saying only Burge was getting stick or at least RCC was not as much stick as him, yet today on the CWR phone in tonight after that Chesterfield game, people were blaming RCC for the goal today Having just watched the highlights now all I can ask these people is that on behalf of...

    Maf!!

So Mowbray IS losing the plot then eh?

    Maf!!

But I'm not talking about playing well in training, I'm talking about playing to a system in training.

    Maf!!

I trust Mowbray. Look where he has guided us. He has worked with Fortune before too at Celtic and West Brom. I trust him to make the right decisions. We are not on the training ground week in week out and we don't seem the strategies and formations they work on day to day.

    Mr Tinkerman

It's an overreaction. We are 4th, 2 points off top spot and are the only side in all the leagues to be unbeaten at home. How is that losing the plot? Today is the second game in THREE days. We had to make changes. Armstrong was due a rest and JOB needed to come in, Cole said himself that he...

We need to hoof it, but on the ground, not at pace and to feet and to make sure it's short.

No way Martin has been 'rested.' He must be carrying an injury. If we rested him he'd be on the bench, as we have no other cover. The defence is very worrying today and if any of the back four now get injured we are in big trouble. Stokes acquitted himself well last time at centre back, but it...

I think he'll rest Murphy, but if Armstrong was to be rested, then Murphy down the middle in a more advanced position might just provide an answer.

Shouldn't be a horrible feeling Stu. Just put your trust in our manager. ;)

City Centre, what to go and what to build

We have got more city centre living, it's all for students though.

    So, Reice Charles Cooke...

Good save then if so, but I thought he didn't get his fingers to it.

City Centre, what to go and what to build

Knock down? The Britannia Hotel, the ring road and I would demolish the structures and buildings from Lady Herbert's Garden to the Swanswell Pool and therefore expand the city centre outwards to include the Swanswell within the centre. Would also open up the Sherbourne opposite the motor museum.

Yep, accept Fortune getting more game time, but I think TM sees him as stronger and a better target man for when we pump the ball long, especially kicks from the goalkeeper. Tudgay and Fortune are two different types of players. The way Port Vale were pressing on Saturday the obvious...

Only thing I would say on that one is that Armstrong is only 18 and we don't want him to have burn out. We have to manage him carefully, so it may well be we have to rest him here and there, as I am not sure he can play a whole season.
