    second bid for city

For anyone else without access to a radio, captain_mainwaIring seems to be summarising over on GMK http://www.gmkonline.com/?page=forum&forum_id=6&thread_id=33066&selpage=15&limit=15&obf=post_number&obad=ASC

What's he saying? I waited and waited, but could wait no longer and had to leave the radio.

    It happened for them

Indeed. Someone posted this (or a clip very like it) on here a year or two ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyvFhXqNd0M

    For PWKH

From memory, the administrator's report said he had not worked with the Company (CCFC Ltd) or the directors (Tim Fisher) before. I do not recall it mentioning Sisu in that respect.

Which is why I mentioned Tim Fisher's comments a few months ago about Joy Seppala becoming personally involved...

Excellent piece Squirrel. You raise some questions that were floating half-formed in my mind that I do not have the expertise to word with your rapier incision. Well done.

I also notice from point 11 that the administrator has to investigate the conduct of the directors and shadow directors over the last three years. Fairly standard stuff for these kind of documents I imagine, but would that mean Joy Seppala's role will be investigated too seeing as how she was...

Yes, I read that bit a couple of times. I guess it comes down to whether someone wants to buy us - and Ltd having the Golden Share helps. Sisu might need to buy the company to obtain it (if their beneficial ownership claim fails) or it gives the administrator an asset someone else might want to buy.
  13. Sky Blues

    Coventry United FC

It's good to have the reasoning behind the name. It makes more sense now. What will happen to Coventry United when CCFC returns to Coventry (if it actually leaves) or someone non-Sisu takes over and plays games at the Ricoh?

As a fellow Packers fan, I wouldn't object either. :)

if CCFC Ltd owns the players' registrations (and ownership of the Golden Share suggests to me it should) then, if I am reading this correctly, the squad has a book value £466,742. Not very much is it?

    Coventry United FC

Sorry, I hijacked a sensible point you were making for a joke. You're right, they would need the Butts or something similar for the higher non-leagues.

That's why I added the /influenced. There aren't many sports organisations like Barcelona or the Green Bay Packers.

There's an empty ground to the north of town they could use when they get bigger. I think it's called The Rioch or something... :p

    Coventry United FC

Jase, what was the thinking behind "United"? I suspect a lot of clubs have been called that in the past because they were formed out of the merging of other clubs. But you're not merging clubs here. I'm going to assume it was more than just the lazy choice and ask: Was it because you want a club...
