    Rather humbled

It was an illegal act against Sheffield Utd and standard sports broadcasting procedure is for the cameras to pan away from any disruption, so simply by filming they were giving the protests publicity. Doesn't mean either press or TV company were actually condoning it.

    Rather humbled

Why surprised? Even at the Sheffield Utd game the Sky commentary team described the pitch invasion as totally understandable.

When was the last time we won after going down to 10 men?

Leicester away in the cup 1999 maybe?

    Idiots

All if buts and maybe's i'm afraid. If I punch the air in delight in celebration of Cov scoring (unlikely I know) and I accidentally misdirected my fist into someone's face inflicting damage requiring dental repair should I straightjacket myself everttime I attend a game?

Coventry City fans to discuss possibility of supporter-led takeover

No acrimony between he and Sisu then?

Fans need to look in the mirror

Definitely engaged in a campaign to drive Sisu out of CCFC. To say they want CCFC out of Coventry is frankly Grendelite.

Coventry City fans to discuss possibility of supporter-led takeover

Point 1 relies on trust Dave. Good luck with that. Point 2, what timescale do you think Ranson was given to achieve promotion? Seems to me Sisu panicked, Ranson was fired and plan b was rolled out to disastrous effect.

Southend Groundsman Sacked after game called off

Can't remember any tall buildings surrounding the ground and the stands are too low to prohibit sunlight but think some nearby trees throw a bit of shade. Seems incredibly harsh nonetheless.

Southend Groundsman Sacked after game called off

Yet Canvey Island, 12 miles away, got their game on. Sacked because the Ref couldn't be arsed?

Fans need to look in the mirror

Do you genuinely think the council aimed to put the club out of business?

Fans need to look in the mirror

This much of your post is true. The Ultras would have stormed the board room/prawn sandwich enclosure and saw that those responsible were swinging Mussolini style from the nearest stadium gantry.

Fans need to look in the mirror

I'd want any potential owners to know enough about this club and indeed the city and surrounding environs to realise that with benign leadership, it will pull in attendances upwards of 25k if we have genuine aspirations of promotion. If prospective owners think the 9k we are getting at the...

    Linnell to Peter Bodak

Scored an absolute belter against Watford in the 81 League cup Q/F too if I recall.
