    Our Weakest Position

Haji is not the player we need Haji to be. Haji was brought in for big money, to replace a player who was one of the best players for this club post Premier League era and despite having 40 goals in 106 games he’s flattered to deceive. As I’ve said in previous posts, Haji is highly...

    Haji shite

I do hope Haji turns it around, I’d love to see nothing more than Haji score plenty of goals between now and the end of the season, and get us up to the PL. Would be happy to be proven wrong about Haji as that surely would only benefit CCFC.

    25/26 January Transfer Window

That really does depend on the player we are splashing £5m on. So using FotMob our top six players on overall ratings for the season are. Torp BTA Grimes Thomas Kitching EMC All these players were signed for under £5m. There are good players out there for a certain budget. Regardless the £15m...

    Haji shite

Haji has had plenty of brilliant chances in the last three months and failed to finish any of them. Ridiculous statement regarding supply.
  5. RoboCCFC90

    Our Weakest Position

This is Haji’s longest baron spell since he’s been at the club, 14 games he’s now played without a goal. This isn’t just a bad patch unfortunately, he’s missed guilt edge chances. He’s only contributed one assist in those 14 games and the matches in which he’s contributed a good performance...

Add to this we aren’t spending £15m on anyone, it’s just not going to happen.

Match Thread Stoke City - Coventry City [FA] Match Thread - Saturday 10th Jan

Yeah I agree with that Mucca in fairness. Maybe on a different day his header goes in and we go on to win, but on this day in line with his recent form the miss was no real surprise.

    Haji shite

You’d like to think, but it’s been a constant of his spell here and I get it, he seems a bit more reserved and doesn’t go throwing his fists and arms around like other strikers we’ve had. I’d like to see a bit of passion and fight from him though and I don’t at the moment.

Match Thread Stoke City - Coventry City [FA] Match Thread - Saturday 10th Jan

I think Kai and Frank summed it up pretty well in their post match pressers, not much in the game and it was a quality strike that won it for Stoke - I’m not overly fussed about the Cup, it was coming through today with minutes in the legs for all that needed it. I didn’t think Kitch was at his...

    25/26 January Transfer Window

I keep seeing the “bed wetters” phrase being banded about, and this may come as shock but people are entitled to be annoyed/disappointed/frustrated with some manners of our club, whether it’s transfer activity, team/individual performances or anything else.
  12. RoboCCFC90

    Our Weakest Position

We’ve all seen that. The issue with Haji is he goes through spells, when he’s good he’s unplayable at this level, but when he’s bad it’s like he’s not arsed in being here. Problem is right now is so far down the line of being bad where he’s barely being able to offer the team anything at all...

    Our Weakest Position

Sorry, not meaning to be rude or argumentative, but your opinion is based on what exactly?
  14. RoboCCFC90

    Our Weakest Position

Good point. It’s difficult for everyone to get a quality striker in this window, but if anyone could manage it, it could be Cov as there are a lot of pros to offer.
  15. RoboCCFC90

    Haji shite

It’s getting to a point with Haji that anyone defending him won’t be able to, he was rubbish today and missed a sitter, which I’m confident Simms or BTA would’ve scored. He needs a spell on the bench, or selling for what we can get.
  16. RoboCCFC90

    Our Weakest Position

Dropping Simms for Wright while Simms was hot in form was a massive blunder by Frank. Haji again today showing he couldn’t hit water if he fell out of a boat. Not surprised he missed such an easy chance, my only surprise was being the only one not surprised.

Hull are 7th and only five points behind Boro, you’d of thought they would be keen to keep all their best players, including Hughes to sustain their push for the playoffs or even automatic promotion. This will put Hughes out of our reach as they won’t sell to a rival.

    Transfer Rumour Yang Min-hyeok

Welcome to the club Yang! Seem to remember Yang being one of Pompey’s better players first half, when we played them earlier in the season. Hopefully he can contribute getting us to the goal of the Prem!

    25/26 January Transfer Window

It used to be that Clubs would specify in contracts a maximum mileage that players could live away from the training ground or stadium itself. This may have changed now. On the Wilson rumour, I do think it’s unlikely we sign him, it would be stuff of fairytales if we did and Callum fired us to...
