    Embarrassing

Nice to see Elon Musk really reach out to the middle ground to try and lower the temperature of political discourse right now - these right wingers really do seem like they just want everyone to get along!

Allowing the clock to be stopped will make for exponentially more time wasting and cynical game management, not less.

Also similar to The Road is Juice by Tim Winton. An ex-soldier/vigilante in a post-apocalyptic Australia tells the story of his life to his captor. Like Mad Max if it was even more righteous about climate change.

Pretty wild anti-semitism here, I assume Suella Braverman will be on the case to demand these protests are banned?

Some of the best attacking football weve played for years

Our strikers and AM are more than capable of scoring goals, I simply don’t understand the desire to rip up this forward line, it’s absolutely humming.

It’s completely pointless and all decent football fans should demand it be scrapped.

Passed it to MVE who eventually set up our goal?

I guess? Or just make refs do their job in terms of stoppage time. I miss that World Cup 10+ minutes energy. Although it would mean I’d miss my train most weeks.

Some of the best attacking football weve played for years

We are a real force going forward, it’s amazing to watch at times. We are one functioning defensive unit away from being a top team in this league.

Of course they do, which is bad. That’s why the rules shouldn’t incentivise them to do it more. As I said earlier, keepers are always going to get special/different treatment because of the unique role they play.

Match Thread Coventry City - Norwich City Match Thread - Saturday 13th Sep

I’m going to assume/hope that Woolfenden is better than both of them, in which case it’s all about finding which of the two complements him best. Thomas does at least offer something in the opposition’s box, while Kitching has a good passing range.

    Solid start to the season

Every year at every club there is some wise guy who says “I’d rather see us win 5-4 than be a boring team that’s good at defending” and by god, that man this season is Frank Lampard

There are plenty of injuries that require temporary treatment and then see the players get up and carry on with the game, it happens every week? I’m not expecting you to agree with it, certainly not after we’ve just watched a time wasting masterclass, but keepers are always going to get special...

Anything that encourages keepers to play on through a genuine injury is a non-starter on player welfare grounds.
