    Israel - Palestinian Conflict

It appears that the choice being presented to Hamas is either hand over Gaza to a technocratic government run by Tony Blair, or have your smithereens be bombed into much smaller smithereens. And option B may still be their preferred option!

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I know that not everyone needs to do the citizenship to get ILR but many do. There are often many hoops to jump through. Is there any evidence that people on ILR are a negative impact on the economy? Or are harming UK culture in some way? I don’t understand the need to clamp down on these people.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c0m4g3zvy02o Having seen from various colleagues how hard it is to get indefinite leave to remain, I find it hard to believe that they are the group of migrants who most need clamping down on. You need to speak the language, have a job, do the citizenship...

    Jay Dasilva

As I said elsewhere, every other position on the pitch has had seven figure sums invested there in terms of transfer fees. It’s a testament to Dasilva that LB doesn’t look like a huge weak spot at the moment given how cheaply we’ve assembled our options there. He looks head and shoulders above...

    Wembley again Ole Ole

Important to remember we were a 5th placed team last season even after a poor start and one of the division’s best strikers out for half the season. Not a stretch to think that if we can avoid both of those things this time then we can be in the conversation for automatics.

    Wembley again Ole Ole

It’s the first season I can remember since the L1 title season where there are no teams in the division I’d expect us to lose against. The squad is thin and we are already having bad luck on the injury front, but our first XI is genuinely good enough and we have the resources to make a real...

    Recruitment

While there have certainly been some overpays in there, the only big money signing of Austin’s that hasn’t contributed to the first team’s success so far has been Bassette, and that’s a pretty good hit record.

    Jay Dasilva

Often a liability last season - he looks like a totally different player this year. Extremely comfortable on the ball, always offers an option going forward, he’s even looked decent in the tackle the past few home games. Considering we’ve spent nothing in transfer fees on this position over the...
