Top players miss chances like that all of the time. You do make your own luck in football, which is why I think him getting on the end of crosses at the far post and getting beyond the last man time and time again, suggests he’s going to eventually score a few goals; even by accident!

The Hound can’t be playing 90+ minutes every game. It’s good to have two very different style players for one position.

He’s been much better on the left and makes some great runs in behind. Most of what he’s trying to score are tap ins and just haven’t quite worked out yet. Think he’ll score a few goals this season. Less than 10, but above 5 is my guess.

Ideal player to bring on against tired legs what with his turn of pace though. Him and Simms offer different things, but I’d defo like to see that front three start again together.

He was pretty good for about 70 minutes. Last 20 he made a couple of mistakes. I agree he should have been substituted.
