I would not call it negative. Crazy would be more appropriate. This is Thorn's first real test having managed with his hands tied previously. Plus we need stability and if we sack Thorn who in their right mind would take the job!
If you assume that Wood is reported to be the highest remaining wage at £6k that says that even Fleck and Kilbane are on less. This seems reasonable for top League 1 club.

Could do well in this league but only had about 2 good games in the Championship.

He was the best cb in the championship. The reason he could not cement a first team place is that he has had a long term injury in every season. If he could stay fit he would be massive for us, but with his injury history I would understand him being sold if a good price was offered.
Dont forget we now have to balance players wages against turnover due to the new Financial Fairplay, so it might be we need Keogh out before we can make any further significant additions.
