That’s all fine, you are entitled to ask questions about that. So you believe the players performances have been negatively impacted by their rest and nutrition being considered / analysed in a scientific way?

I’m still struggling as to what people think the performance director can be held accountable for? Can someone please explain?!

Realistically I’m sure they already know they are not top level coaches. Most people in most organisations understand and accept their level of experience.

I think / assume he was talking in overall running performance from the data etc. Injuries will be happening at all clubs and if anything, I’d say other than Wrights we’ve been pretty lucky so far; look at Norwich as an example.

No I think most of the new signings are good and the ones that aren’t haven’t had lots of times to prove themselves. Even some of the more limited players can play their part in a good squad I think. Looking forward to seeing a couple of good centre mids in Jan though!

Yeah this is how I’m seeing the current blame game. It’s just taking a little longer for some people to move on is all I think. I really hope we start doing okay when the new head coach comes in and it will allow people to relax their suspicions.

Keep asking the questions, you’ll get the same answers while her role at the club remains the same! Is it any wonder she didn’t get thrown under the bus given what her role entails? People aren’t defending her, they’re just pointing out what she actually does.

So people have moved on from Dr. Claire now that the answer to Lindens question proved she makes sure the players go to bed at a sensible time and don’t eat McDonalds every day?

No shit on the last point. I’m glad we didn’t sign and he hasn’t started life at Sunderland particularly well. We should be aiming for better.

Same - I struggle to believe that, it’s the kind of lie he could also get away with. Seems like some posters who were initially (and understandably) very upset have now turned a bit of a corner and are just hoping we get the stuff in the near future right, which is nice to see.

Doug 6 - some good saves, still don’t fully trust him with the ball at his feet. Dean 7 - clearly has bottle pushing forwards (going to Doug with players that are too expensive is good), good insights into JWS and McNally. Clive 10 (MOM) - didn’t get a single players name wrong, well done...
