I don’t remember tbh - were they in need of a goalscorer? We aren’t.

The more signings we make now, the more difficult it becomes to overhaul the squad in the summer to reach the required standard.

Hence their incentive to throw the kitchen sink at it. If they do go up then they're looking at another season in the PL with a squad that's too good for the Championship and woefully ill-equipped for the top flight.

Because we're several points ahead of them and have been consistently playing at a higher level than them all season.

Ipswich need to do something different to get to where we already are. We don't have the same pressure as them to build a Championship super-team right now, that should stand us in good stead next season.
