With Next Season In Mind ?

They're 8th in the form table over the last 10 games. Not saying they're rubbish, but that they're not rolling teams over like they were.

    Luke Thomas

I heard podcast where they interviewed Miles Jacobsen, and he said they actually put the correct wages into the game at one time, but a chairman got peed off because one of his players had a match highest earner clause and saw another player was on more so kicked off about it. Jacobsen said...

Tom Davies contract extension. Yes or No ?

Yes, but I don't like the 'play me or else' attitude he seems to have developed. Can't help worry that he'll be a bad egg if he doesn't play every week.

    Willis

Where Willis differs from a lot of L1 centre backs is that he has pace. That's what we'll miss.

With Next Season In Mind ?

I want Sunderland, Pompey and Barnsely to go up. All big hitters in this league. Luton have falled away since Nathan Jones has gone. I'm concerned about Rotherham coming down, as they seem like a good club, and I'd suggest the best out of the 3 coming down given that Bolton and Ipswich are both...

    Luke Thomas

I get that viewpoint, but I reckon he's got a lot in his locker still to give. This has been his best goalscoring season to date, and you'd like to think he can only get better. It's a question of whether he's doing what Robins wants, I guess. I'd give him another season. I think he can do well...

If both stay, given how well they work with Hiwula and Baka, we could be devastating next season. 5-0 wins all over the gaff.

    Bright Enobakhare

If he does sign, he'll probably get an ACL first game of the season knowing our luck.

    Today’s games

I used to love seeing the R next to other teams' names back when we were the escape artists.

    Today’s games

When was the last time we scored 7 in a league game? The closest I can remember was the 6-2 v Derby. Edit: I'm assuming a 1-0 win tomorrow, which is obviously the worst positive result we can get.

    Today’s games

We just have to go hell for leather now. Should be an entertaining couple of games in store!

I refuse to believe it until it's officially confirmed. I'm still bitterly upset about Nacho Novo.

    Player of the Season Vote

Just as an FYI, I was on the page a few mins after it launched and it let me vote more than once.

Match Thread Portsmouth vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Monday 22nd Apr

Regardless of result, over the past few weeks we've proved we can compete at the top of the table. Assuming we still have a club, next season promises to be something special.

    Can tell it's warm when

Back garden. We shared the garden with a neighbour who was in his 50s, and he was a raging alcoholic. He'd come out and watch us trying to play Gran Turismo, sipping the dregs of his bottles of lemon Hooch and making his own BBQ out of an upturned dustbin lid. I wish we could have taken him with...

    Can tell it's warm when

Back in the day I used to get the gazebo out (England flag themed), whack on the BBQ, take the TV and playstation outside and drink maddog 20/20 until I was sick. Good times. Nowadays I just stay inside and draw the curtains.

    Easter weekend (make or break)

Ha. I was just about to post the exact same thing, but using skybet who have us at 150-1. Not often the bookies get it that wrong.

    The Most Important Question

I used to like a Flake Easter egg. It really was the crumbliest, flakiest chocolate, with the hard egg a genuine bonus. But the flakes are so small that I'd now prefer a Malteser one. As an aside, does anyone else get the whole egg in the wrapper and smash it on a table to break it up? I'm the...
