This is the problem with coming out and saying you're going for promotion. When things don't go too well, you look like a fool. Actually, things are going okay. Not great, not badly, just okay. But this is only our second season back at this level. Perhaps we're expecting too much. We've changed...

Two ways to look at this season so far: 1) we've only lost 3 in 20 2) we've only won 7 in 20 I see this season as setting the platform for next, so I'm not expecting promotion, but it looks like we need to do something differently, and do it soon, or this season will just peter out.

I'm a big Shipley advocate. He plays like the fan that he is. He may not be Lionel Messi, and he may be inconsistent at times, but he has the heart of a lion.

The next round is tie is clearly winnable. If we win tonight, then round 5 is on the horizon, and so is the TV money and prize winnings. For a club in our oft-repeated position, it's clear that every penny counts. Play the strongest team, get some goals, keep the momentum going.

We spaffed money up the wall in those days. A million here, two million there, and we spent that on players that didn't even play. It was shameful really.
