Fans Support of Andy Thorn: A sign of just how far we have fallen?

I think the tactics are awful too. Seems like we are all fooled by the pretty passing around in circles. Teams have now sussed us out and that is why we are now losing regularly.

He has my backing too. If he makes mistakes though I will critisise him for it, same as I would for any City player who has a dreadful game.

I am beginning to go off Andy Thorn a bit of late

Exactly. And the massive gap between the forwards and the midfield must be a tactic and a crazy one at that. I am convinced that Thorn tells our midfield to sit deep. It's no wonder we are scoring at a rate of less than a goal a game.

Fans Support of Andy Thorn: A sign of just how far we have fallen?

First bit obviously the owners and board. The motivation of the players to at least put a bit of effort in and the selection of tactics that would enable us to compete? The coaching staff.

Fans Support of Andy Thorn: A sign of just how far we have fallen?

Well it's as plain as day to me that the squad isn't good enough and too small and there is too much reliance on the youth players, but also that the tactics are wrong too and the players are not motivated.

Fans Support of Andy Thorn: A sign of just how far we have fallen?

Disagree on this point. I think there are managers who could without any shadow of doubt do better than Thorn. It would still be a struggle and great achievement to keep us up, but I think Thorn is now contributing to our own downfall with poor decision making, a lack of motivational skills and...

Will AT be gone before West Ham

But yet it is supposed to be McDonald who is the goalscorer. Is there any possibility we can play Platt and McDonald up front and Juke at the tip of the diamond I wonder? Don't wish to see Juke dropped from the side but something needs to happen.

Don't think we will get away with a change of manager this time....

We will be bottom i think after the next two games. 2nd place West Ham and 4th place Cardiff. Think our record against Cardiff of late at the Ricoh is piss poor. 1-2 1-2 0-2 0-0 2-2 Doesn't bode well that does it.

I am beginning to go off Andy Thorn a bit of late

If he was trying to stay positive he could have just said “First half we gifted them two goals. We showed great character and commitment to get back into the game though, which I was really pleased about. I can’t fault the players because they showed real character to come back into it but then...

I am beginning to go off Andy Thorn a bit of late

If he was talking about the 2nd half then fair enough, but saying the team did well in the first half? That is crazy talk. We were bleedin dreadful and not only poor but the players didn't even seem up for it.

We are bland. Sums us up perfectly. We are like a boxer without a killer punch. All we do is spar nicely for 10 rounds and then get knocked out.

I am beginning to go off Andy Thorn a bit of late

Especially if he comes out with bollocks like this. DEFENSIVE mistakes cost Coventry City against league leaders Southampton — but manager Andy Thorn could not fault his side for effort. Saints were deservedly two up at half-time thanks to goals from Richard Chaplow and Adam Lallana before...

He does seem a bit of a blame culture captain. He should lead from the front and by example instead of berating players all day.

Well for me, I was just overjoyed that we scored 2 goals in a game. At the mo that is like us getting to Wembley.

Don't think we will get away with a change of manager this time....

Possibly. My main concern is that we have this huge gap between the front two and the midfield. This appears to be a tactic. Cody and Juke playing apart too. Think a change of tactics by a new manager could help somewhat, though I do still think we would struggle and be close to the bottom...

Will AT be gone before West Ham

Think the problem is though that McDonald and Juke seem unable to play together as a partnership. It's either that or Thorn is telling them to stay about 20 yards apart.

Why does playing two forwards together involve them having to be decent? You practice in training and tell them to play closer together. It's not as if it's the forward's natural instinct to go wide is it. Juke drifts wide at times. You just have to work on that in training. Tell them to play...

Well how will we ever know if it's never tried?
