That's very true but the EFL cannot really do anything about the current owners, what they will do is make sure any future owner has the ground situation sorted. Fraser group own the stadium and either they buy the club or the owners of the club enter into a long term contract to rent the...

Except for the fact he owns the stadium.

The EFL will surely want to know where we will be playing after May 23 and how long for. They will be sick of Sisu moving the club every couple of seasons and as King is Sisu then this will be a big issue with EFL

Ashley could use one of his other entities to buy Sheff Utd. He could also do the same with us and then have us pay an exorbitant amount of rent to Fraser Group. My hope is that there is some truth in his interest in Sheff Utd and that a successful purchase would see him agree to Fraser Group...

Would think EFL will want assurances regarding ground and this is holding things up. Saying we are ok till may 23 won't cut it.

    Poll...

Voted for Ashley although can't stand the prick. He owns the stadium and it would bring the club and stadium together plus he has experience of running football clubs and would invest a whole lot more than SISU.

Can't be bothered to read through all previous posts on the subject so if mention before apologies. Just wondering if the financial implications on the virus will hit Wasps harder than us and could this bring them back to the table re Ricoh. Personally I hope they go bust.

Agree. No way this season will be voided . Its 75pct complete and the league ladders don't lie. Here in Australia the NRL season has just started. One week in and they are playing all future games behind closed doors until further notice.

Exactly. Ideal if we make the playoffs. But away form not good enough for automatics.

    I think Burge is alright

If people were watching Burge for the first time, as I did in the final, they would no doubt think that he was a very decent keeper. Am I not alone in thinking that if it was not for his crucial saves, we would have lost that final. I am pleased we are keeping him, and with a solid back four he...
