If we signed him I'd support him, but over the course of a 46 game season his stats suggest he'd score 3 more goals than either Max and Baka (both about 1 in 7 strikers). It's not a significantly better return. If we're looking to upgrade, I'm just not convinced he'll make a huge difference.

Championship quality? Really? He's 28 and averages 1 goal every 5 games, and that's skewed by having two decent seasons for Blackpool. He always seemed a bang average league one player to me 🤷‍♂️

5 games in the last 2 and a half seasons I think. It isn't that I think he's too good for us, but I suspect that he believes he is. Seems to have a bit of an ego. Edit: a quick Google suggests he turned us down once before, when Andy Thorn tried to sign him from Man Utd.

Be interesting so see what happens with the FA Cup games. If a decent number are postponed, where the hell do they then fit into the fixture list? And if expulsion/ forfeit is an option, then it makes a mockery of a cup competition. Part of me thinks the FA Cup should have been cancelled for a year.

Walker's 24, so not exactly a young hot prospect. That said, he's banged goals in for fun at a lower level, so he must have something about him. This season we're barely making any chances for our forwards to score, so with only scraps to work with it must be quite demoralising.
