Not necessarily. Whilst the consolidated accounts of Covcityco Ltd will change due to owning this new operation (new revenue streams and expenditure), improvement will only come if these operations are profitable and/or if these operations increase the profitability of existing operations.

    Finance update

Not necessarily true. Could be true, but I’d imagine based on the forecasts DK/the club are looking at, DK thinks the stadium is worth owning rather than renting. DK will have factored risk into this, ie if forecasts are off by x%, how does this impact the overall analysis (net present value of...

My bad too, I’ve just edited my post to make it a bit clearer just in case.

Incorrect. Covcityco Ltd acquired the companies named above for consideration of £50m.

    Finance update

We don’t have the details to confirm 100%, but that sounds entirely plausible. There’s a fixed charge between Coventry arena propco limited and frs estates Ltd - like a mortgage. Definitely paying in instalments (the Frasers cash flow confirms they’ve only actually received £7.5m (max) to...

    Finance update

I expect the Cov financial statements to be filed on companies house in February (assuming the same timelines as previous years). The end of Feb also being the statutory deadline to file the accounts. These accounts will be to 31 May 2025. I’d expect a comment in the directors’ report and in...

    Finance update

An intriguing update for you, clearing up some of the confusion on the price the club paid for the Arena. This is based on the Frasers Group plc half year results to 26 Oct-25 (released in Dec-25). The half year results are unaudited. The club’s purchase of the Arena cost £50m. (Not the...

Very nice - I hate interval sessions like these, much prefer a long solid block of running.

    Stadium update

Leeds have something like this on at least part of Elland Road. I was surprised at just how crap it looked. But perhaps that was just the ground/surrounding area in general. Maybe it would be better if it were more professionally executed.

How many do we reckon tuned in to watch Cov v WBA? (not trying to score points for/against women’s football here, just curious to understand what our/the reset of the championship sky viewing figures are like. Anyone any idea?)

    Finance update

2024 and 2023 accounts show losses of 2.7m and 5.1m. But the club is owned by an American company (Wrexham Holdings LLC). Don’t know how the Group is structured in that there could be other trading companies in the Group that are linked with the club that when on consolidation show a different...

    Finance update

Still thinking about this. Ultimately I think it is a positive thing for the club as long as DK’s intentions remain in line with ours (the fans), which I have no reason to doubt or question. Better for the club’s cash flow (no interest repayments - albeit the loan he’s put into the club so far...

    Finance update

This was prior to the stadium purchase. Albeit and the likelihood is that it was involved in the wider financing ahead of the stadium purchase. The Club would have been discussing/negotiating the stadium purchase with Frasers for a while you'd have thought. Could be that the club needed to show...

    Finance update

Latest filing (today) on Companies House shows that the £15m equity put into the club in May-25 was from RCMA GROUP PTE LTD. This is a company within the wider RCMA Group of companies, for which Doug King is an owner.

More questions around ownership of the stadium and further clarification on how this was funded please. Very much doubt he will answer the funding question, but in terms of ownership it's a simple one that will be revealed in future sets of accounts anyway - Does Covcityco Ltd own 100% of...

Unofficial 5km pb of bang on 17:00 back in 2021. Quickest of late is 17:47 at the end of May (which wasn't an all out effort). I've done a lot of running since then, but not been out for a flat out 5km. I reckon around the 17:00 mark would be a sensible bet though 🤞

A nice interval session today - 6x 1km with 90s rests (ave 3:24 reps), followed by a 4km tempo at 3:47 ave. 19km run in total. Starting to see the benefits in these sessions now, which I am gradually making harder. A good way to start the week.
