Is Chris Anderson having a laugh?

Perry Groves on talksport, on talking about football issues said something to the effect, 'Once you lose the trust & respect of fans/supporters, it's almost impossible to get it back'. Therefore, having been part of the sisu clique, Mr Anderson, if it were CCFC he was interested in, would find...

Pictures of Cov in the past and Coventry Pubs

Top drawer stuff HH; The Bear Inn on the High St was, an old coaching Inn, way back, but in the 70's the back room u/stairs was a rock/prog rock venue called Chums, next door to the Bear was Waters Wine Bar. Also in the rock vein was the Colin Campbell, The Humber Hotel, & the Plough on the...

Got to get Tim Fisher out of our club.in

There is a huge difference between impartiality & the bleeding obvious, ffs wake up & smell the 'you know what'

Got to get Tim Fisher out of our club.in

There is a problem here, the Cov Tel came out & with 20,000 + criticised the club, (rightly so, in my opinion), but the other arm of the local media, i.e. radio, did not & will not do that, perhaps they've been told, I don't know, just guessing. They'll sit on the fence until they get splinters...

    WELL DONE SISU!!

Didn't JS say something along the lines of caring only for her family & her investors & that she was a devout christian ? Well, to me, CCFC fans are hugely the largest investors in this football club that she bought, indeed there would have been thousands more on a regular basis, investing many...

    Chesterfield

I'd much rather he take 'RUM SNAKE V' as his assistant, & if they want a chairman, 'FIRM SHITE' would be nearer his roots.

Got to get Tim Fisher out of our club.in

Now, more than ever, is the need for 'the media' - proper investigative journalists, to really get to grip with Sisu, their cohorts, & connected companies, & i don't mean those who, it would seem are in sisu's pocket, for fear of access to the club Damien Collins, it would seem, is an...

    Best Coventry Central Midfielder?

I just feel proud & privileged to have been able to watch so many superb footballers play for CCFC. If we're talking midfielders that must include half backs, wing halves, inside forwards, and wingers. Therefore in my time, Brian Hill, Ronnie Farmer, Ken Hale, Ronnie Rees, Ian Gibson, Tommy...

Snow nostalgia - who remembers this game?

I do remember a game PNE, I think, @ Highfield Road, perhaps someone could resurrect the Cov Evening Telegraph report, think the City won 3-0 & the report headline was 'Hudson On Ice', certainly not a drug reference. There was also another one where we beat Southampton 5-1 & 'the hud' excelled...

    Phone in

Did my ears deceive me or did the garrulous Pete say something about that black bloke who was on the board & Clive replied 'Oh yes, Inwee Ogyay'. If so does that qualify as an Eakinball ?

    Eakinballs

In the home game v Bolton, Clive came out with a bit of a stunner when he said, 'Bolton attacking on the left and the cross comes over and Slade heads it back to his keeper' ????

    Ben Stevenson - Brentford

Quite bizarre really, it does beg the question, 'why would BS want to go to a middle of the table championship club ?'. I suspect that he is/was being punted out by you know who. Had, or if, a logical level of investment been made, without the blinkered piss poor control of the club, then we...

    Ben Stevenson - Brentford

RK, several of the daily papers were quoting that figure, however, my point is that CCFC, do not seem to get just rewards for the promising talent that moves on.

    Ben Stevenson - Brentford

I wonder what the Maddison transfer details were, Anderson alluded to the fact that it was several million in total, many guessed @ £6m, & that all of that money would go back into the club on the football side of things, one way or another. Ben Stevenson does compare well to Maddison, &...

Match Thread Coventry v Brighton U21 Match Thread - Tuesday 10th Jan

So who is available ? Burge, RCC, Willis or has Fishface shipped him out yet, DKE. Turnbull, Stokes - if fit, Haynes is he aok, Harries - if still being schmoozed by the hub cap stealers,Bigi ( an emergency RB, Rose, Stevenson - if not shipped out by Fishface, Gadzhev, Lameiras, Jones, Reid...

    Ben Stevenson - Brentford

Just an opinion, Ben Stevenson should remain with CCFC & form the basis of a squad to take US higher, I, unfortunately don't feel this will happen. The myopic attitude of Fisher & Co, is such, that they are happy to drive down the club. Surely, these are not owners, who are fit for purpose.

    Ben Stevenson - Brentford

Ben Stevenson, imo, is as good as, if not better than Maddison, & so with inflation in mind, i'd turn down anything under £5.5m, you have to factor in the leeches (brokers, agents, deal managers), part, i.e. 5% each.

The only way to hurt sisu

A very good friend of mine, whose memory i hold most dearly, is unfortunately no longer with us, said to me that he was in a meeting where JS was present, & he told me that she had said, 'unless i get my way 100 % i will liquidate this club', at the time of him telling me this, i was suitably...

    Sambou

Everton, in common with all of the clubs who operate the 'megalomania rule', now have 92 full time pro's. The stupid stockpiling of players is ridiculuous.
