In some ways, iFollow has been great for me. Family and work commitments always made getting to games a challenge, and while I went to as many as I could, there were times I could go weeks without getting to a game. iFollow means I only have to steal 2 hours out of the day, rather than 6 or 7...

    Barnsley esc performance

This is the point of the season where we find out if having 6 months off last spring and summer helps us compared to those who had to play through. Hopefully that break works in our favour and other teams begin to tire, which will make our pressing all the more potent. But it's a relatively new...

    O'Hare

Easy to forget he wasn't even a first team regular for periods last season, and now he's probably one of the top 3 or 4 most important players in our side. Quite a rise.

    Michael Doyle

In no particular order: Who was his favourite midfield partner during his first spell here? I think he deserved more than the one cap for his country - does he think the same? Who was his favourite manager when he was with us, and why? Who was the most frustrating player he ever played with...

    Player Ratings

I'm rating players based on being very happy right now, so I might be a bit over the top. I'd go 10s all round, but Kelly was MoTM and deserves a 10 so the others will have to make do with a 9 instead.

    Clive

Nothing will ever beat the goal that Geoff and Clive missed, except maybe the pulling ballyboys off line. That still makes me laugh to this day. A lot of other commentaries nowadays are done solo, and they're an awful lot duller as a result. At least with Clive and Oggy you get debate and...

    Wilson/Marosi

We couldn't have played the football we did last season without Marosi. When we replaced Burge, it was like a lower league version of when Pep replaced Joe Hart because he couldn't play with his feet. But this season we can't play the same way because we simply don't dominate the ball, so one of...

    CCFC Centre Back Stats Comparison

There was an interview with Graham Potter on the radio last week, and he said he takes no real notice of these kind of stats, which I was surprised at given he's seen as a young and innovate manager. As mentioned above, they're a great way to highlight areas that require further investigation...

    Final warning from Robins

Perhaps he's basing his comments on the colour of the players' piss. #bombsquad

    Final warning from Robins

To be fair to Hamer, his poor is still better than some of our players' good. He doesn't stop trying even when he's not playing well, and he's one of our only goal threats. I doubt the comments are referring to him.

    Player Ratings

No-one played well, no-one was abysmal, everyone was just below average, hence 5s all round.

Pask has done ok since he's been on.

What a ball from Cantwell. Fair play to the lad.

Maybe, but he's still better than anything else we have (Godden apart) when he's 50% fit.

I wish he'd left Walker on. I understand why he's gone off, but he still looked lively enough to me.

I thought we'd be mid-table. I severely underestimated how tough this division is nowadays.

We get one back, it's game on again, although the likely reality is that we'll concede again soon. But at least we're trying something.
