To be fair to Hamer, his poor is still better than some of our players' good. He doesn't stop trying even when he's not playing well, and he's one of our only goal threats. I doubt the comments are referring to him.

I thought we'd be mid-table. I severely underestimated how tough this division is nowadays.

We get one back, it's game on again, although the likely reality is that we'll concede again soon. But at least we're trying something.
