If you’re being honest, on the surface, that’s a relatively kind start and end to the season. Guaranteed to be in the relegation zone until January though.

Probably also worth pointing out that the people carrying out direct action on military bases 100% know what’s likely to happen if they get caught. One part of direct action can also be having to serve a prison sentence and the fact that it further assists in highlighting a cause.

I would feel slightly different about it in the case of a “Sheaf replacement”, but he’s always struck me as being a far more limited player than Sheaf? I don’t think he played that much for Ipswich during that season - Ive only ever seen him play for Blackburn!

It’s a demanding position, would be great to have two rotation options for players offering different things / in different styles. But I imagine that also means we won’t be starting the season with JDS and Bidwell here too!
