Unfortunately we are all different. You can be the best player in the world, but how your skeleton, muscles, joints and tendons hold up to the rigours of football is in part, a genetic lottery. Obviously there are elements of keeping yourself fit, warming up etc but a lot of things like that...

You did, because you were wrong. You expected a lot immediately, which in real life doesn’t usually happen. Once he’d settled in he scored 5 and assisted 5. Had a decent season. Most people could see it was coming with him. He played through injury in the latter part of the season.
