i was on the same train - travelled up from Rugby instead of catching one from there and got caught out by the delay. after the game and back home i was outside Brownsover Hall where half the team were staying - well canned and fell off a big wall outside the hotel when the coach arrived - later...
Not holding my breath on this one - the company i work for were having positive talks with the unions on a pay rise this year - we are now being balloted for industrial action!!
pretty sure it's two lines but only signalled in the direction of travel - so the train would not be able to go the 'wrong' way (reverse). it would need a crossing put in bedworth side of the Ricoh.
i went on sunday - never again - atmosphere was dead, game to slow/stop start - there is more noise generated with 7000 city fans then there was with 28000+ visitors. i was quite taken aback by the comments i heard from the actual 'rugby fans' "that statue has got to go" - "should look better...
just come back up the M6 from Rugby - motorway signs warning drivers that there is a Ricoh Arena event on 21st December - delays possible _ i thought we played on the 20th?? :thinking about:
