I think giving the new players a decent amount of settling in time is a sensible and patient approach that almost no one on this forum would take, and therefore none of us are football managers / coaches!

Also, sometimes not doing anything is better than doing something that fucks everything up. Moving chess pieces around to then lose a game of chess rather than waiting and planning a decent sequence of moves. Instead you want to smash the chess board to bits, set the pieces on fire and eat them?

So basically, you’d feel much more relaxed about the whole thing if we signed a load of unknown players, which you then later on find out are shit?
