I guess the counter argument is that he came back from injury and was thrown into starting every game again, rather than being eased back in like he would if we had a well-rounded squad.

You know what, I'm almost pleased with Wright there. Got into a good position, ripped them for pace, struck it well. Gyokeres missed a load of those too.

Wright is actually really good at getting into the right position, but his finishing and form is poor.
