I think it’s partly because the stakes are so high - touching distance of the greatest achievement in several generations but on a knife edge - fail and feels we become another Bristol/Swansea/Preston and join the ranks of eternal Championship teams that miss their opportunities, manager change...

But like QPR and Norwich they are teams that got battered by us in the first half of the season but have all got significantly better whilst we have regressed. Still plenty of teams to play though that are going backwards faster than us - Stoke, Blackburn, West Brom but that April fixture list...

Eustace has built a very solid Championship side. Wouldn’t be surprised at all if they make the playoffs. Had our home game against them as one of the “9 wins will do it” But they are good away from home and may have a lot to play for.
