Agreed. He's far better than we give him credit for. He's a proven player at this level, regularly playing for a successful club. It's £5m at a minimum imho.

Biggest thng for me is that Simms suddenly realised he could use his strength and be an animal, and that him and Haji seem to have developed an understanding. Add Sakamoto and ECM into the mix, and both strikers could bag 25 apiece with a fair wind behind them.

This is the only vacancy that mildly worries me, but if he went he'd be sacked within 18 months because he'd either have failed to get promotion or would be in the bottom 3 of the EPL. I suspect if we went up, we could finish bottom of the Premier League and he'd retain his job.
