Perhaps Ken Dulieu will play Andy Thorn in goal this week.

As next week we have to play Peterborough who have only scored 25 goals at home this season in 10 games. And luckily enough, we have scored a massive 6 goals in 10 away games. Just how mouth-watering a proposition is that going to be!!! :whistle:

What will our Ken do the next match ? I'm guessing he would like to come on and score the winning goal with a bullet-like header in the 89th minute.

Understand him thinking that, but if Gardner is as good as he's supposed to be then you play to his strengths and if necessary ditch the diamond formation and play to a system that accommodates the players you've got at your disposal. Ohh..... hang on ..... wasn't that exactly what Thorn said...

If we were going to play the diamond formation yesterday with a holding player then that holding player had to be Bigi. McShuff or Thomas would have to have made way and Gardner could then have played in his rightful position. This is CCFC though. Why on earth would we consider that!

Agree, but also disagree to a point. Absolutely fine for us to play really poorly and for the manager to say "We worked hard and it didn't just come off for us." Totally not fine for him to say "We played really well and were very unlucky." This is the problem people have with Thorn. If...

I always have CWR on, on the radio while I am watching the game so got to know very early on.

Last 20? More like last 10-12. Point is, yet again, if we had thrown more bodies forwards earlier we may have had a chance. When the likes of Rochdale play Southampton in the cup do they not attack because Southampton are the better side with better players? Course they do. We are too cautious...
