Good job we have a strong solid defence

Perhaps Ken Dulieu will play Andy Thorn in goal this week.

Good job we have a strong solid defence

As next week we have to play Peterborough who have only scored 25 goals at home this season in 10 games. And luckily enough, we have scored a massive 6 goals in 10 away games. Just how mouth-watering a proposition is that going to be!!!

What will our Ken do the next match ?

What will our Ken do the next match ? I'm guessing he would like to come on and score the winning goal with a bullet-like header in the 89th minute.

    Gardner

Understand him thinking that, but if Gardner is as good as he's supposed to be then you play to his strengths and if necessary ditch the diamond formation and play to a system that accommodates the players you've got at your disposal. Ohh..... hang on ..... wasn't that exactly what Thorn said...

    Yep. It's the Jolly Roger.

    Gardner

If we were going to play the diamond formation yesterday with a holding player then that holding player had to be Bigi. McShuff or Thomas would have to have made way and Gardner could then have played in his rightful position. This is CCFC though. Why on earth would we consider that!

    Why why why ... ?

Agree, but also disagree to a point. Absolutely fine for us to play really poorly and for the manager to say "We worked hard and it didn't just come off for us." Totally not fine for him to say "We played really well and were very unlucky." This is the problem people have with Thorn. If...

    Boxing Day Game

At the moment the quietest area of the ground is ..... errr .... the ground. Basically just choose anywhere.

Something else to cheer you up!

Who's Ian Neale? He's not that daft lump who keeps ringing CWR is he? :o:o

    Gardner

Therefore we won't miss him. AT seems most reluctant to play him in his rightful position.

    He must go now...

I recall Juke's headers for sure. Poor efforts to be honest. The chance through on the keeper was on 77 mins. Would say that was a half-chance to be fair. He wasn't directly on goal. Missed Platt's one. I couldn't stomach anymore at that point and had left. Do think it's wrong AT saying he...

Something else to cheer you up!

Not. In the last 11 seasons only four clubs have had 13 points or less from their first 20 games. All were relegated. It's okay though because John Clarke thinks we will turn it around and survive.:facepalm: The 4 clubs were Brighton Stockport Rotherham Southend Nice to...

    He must go now...

And what's all this about? "Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Thorn said: "It was one of those games which we seem to be getting each week as I don't know how we didn't score." To my mind we had that one clear cut chance and that was of Wood's in the first half. Besides that we hardly threatened.

    He must go now...

He needs to go, one way or the other. Still scratching my head as to why he played a goalscoring, attacking midfielder in the holding roll just in front of the back four. Another mistake to add to the ever increasing catalogue unfortunately.

    If Ipswich win tonight......

I don't expect a comeback. Thing is, the way we set our stall, it is always about a comeback. Why should it be a comeback? Let's go and attack teams from the off. Whatever we are doing now isn't working. It's really dull to watch now too. At least if we were throwing a few more bodies forwards...

    Andy Thorn Resigns ?

I always have CWR on, on the radio while I am watching the game so got to know very early on.

    If Ipswich win tonight......

Last 20? More like last 10-12. Point is, yet again, if we had thrown more bodies forwards earlier we may have had a chance. When the likes of Rochdale play Southampton in the cup do they not attack because Southampton are the better side with better players? Course they do. We are too cautious...

    insanity

That was daft. Assumed that Bigi would come on and Gardner would push forwards. Silly me and my common sense logic.
