    Forests Run: Blessing in Disguise

Yes. This is something I have already agreed with. Much better for them all to be draws of course. I never wanted to give the impression that I was suggesting teams beating each other would be better than draws all round. Draws indeed would be the best solution by far and that goes without...

    Forests Run: Blessing in Disguise

I think your maths needs a bit of brushing up on. if teams around us keep beating each other they will be averaging 1.5 pts per game, drawing will mean a 1 pt per game average. You need at least 2 teams to keep losing these games and and for Coventry to win the games against fellow strugglers...

    Forests Run: Blessing in Disguise

Agreed. No good other teams slipping up if we don't pick up the required points ourselves.

    Forests Run: Blessing in Disguise

They will only average 1.5 pts per game against these teams. They do have other matches to play you know against teams at the other end of the table as well as down the bottom. They don't only play each other and only the ones in a relegation scrap. We don't need any of the teams down there...

    Forests Run: Blessing in Disguise

Well that's the other thing. Draws all round might be good, but if Forest beat Doncaster but then Millwall beat Forest etc. etc. that could work in our favour, rather than a couple of teams pulling clear. As long as we keep picking up points ande beat Doncaster and Milwall and Bristol we would...

This was the Celtic thing I was on about re 9/11. Celtic fans taunt U.S. captain with airplane gesture GLASGOW, Scotland (AP) -- American midfielder Claudio Reyna of Glasgow Rangers was taunted by a fan imitating an airplane in a "disgusting" gesture recalling the Sept. 11 terror...

    Forests Run: Blessing in Disguise

No, don't think it will do us a favour, it will just narrow the options of teams we can catch. I would rather one beats the other and then another beats that one and then someone else beats them, so they keep taking points off each other while we sneak up the league.

    Transfer embargo again

Bit daft isn't it. Fook up your accounts - sign players. Be late filing your accounts - transfer embargo.

Don't listen to the media. Think you will find the vast majority of England fans are like me and don't expect anything from the England team and expect them to fail if anything. It's only the media who say we can 'win this' and are good enough etc.

    Transfer embargo again

The club statement says there is a transfer embargo though.

    Transfer embargo again

Would this explain Thorn saying we wouldn't be getting anyone else in? Maybe he knew there was going to be an embargo.:thinking about:

Have to say I couldn't believe it when the day after the 9/11 attacks, Celtic fans were spreading their arms out like airplane wings at an American Rangers player when he was taking a corner. Never seen anything like it.:(

Disgraceful. So you advocate setting fire to City fans and killing birds with stones? You are one sick individual.

Thorn to miss Saturdays clash after going into hospital

Would think it will probably just be Harrison and Oggy to be honest.

Not if you're looking at Gary Barlow at the time it isn't.

Thorn to miss Saturdays clash after going into hospital

Could it work to our advantage? If he's not a well man at the minute maybe the players will want to win for him!

Ohh yes, forogt about Millwall. They still have a fair few scummy fans. Hull City too. Always recall that time around the 7/7 London bombings when they teased the QPR fans about being a town full of bombers. Lovely stuff.:facepalm:

Can we take advantage of Pompey and Rangers?

Yes, don't get me wrong I accept all that. What I was trying to say was I would be so much happier if we stayed up by our own efforts, so that the Pompey thing wasn't even an issue. I realise they had an advantage by just overspending without thinking about the consequences. I just want City...
