Really don't like it at all. Looks tacky.

    The "Thorn Out" brigade

    1. It was the manner of the defeat (again) 2. The real test is getting points away, not at home. We have 9 home games left. Even if we win all of them that would only give us 49 points and that will probably not be enough to keep us up anyway. We need to pick up points away. We have to pick...

    Last night

Why do you keep saying that? I, along with a few others were all saying AT got that right.

My view (for what little it's worth)

Unfortunately MMM, some of here do say he's a good manager. Think we all agree he is doing the best he can. At the end of the day though, he is a scout and not a manager, as you have already stated.

Why Thorn is a good manager - Reasons Listed

Quite often clever managers will send on an attacker when his team is on the back foot as if gives the opposition something to think about and can disrupt their ascendancy.

We are not getting a new manager

Disagree with the OP. If Thorn was sacked Carsley would take over, so it is entirely wrong to say we are not getting a new manager. It could happen. Any new bloke at the helm though would come from inside the club. unless of course they took up Bobby Gould's offer of doing it for free.

    Lack of comparative fitness

We have a fitness coach. Just not a permanent one.

    The "Thorn Out" brigade

Very good post. Tis a bit daft to have the mindset of any win being a vindication of AT's management but any defeat not being his fault. The truth obviously lies somewhere inbetween.

Points lost at the end of games

Yep, something psychological now. Hypnotise the lot of them. In fact, hypnotise them all into thinking they are Pele.

Our bench hasn't been strong enough all season.

Why Thorn is a good manager - Reasons Listed

I think we should be attacking. Too many times previously though we have defended deep trying to hang on.

    Thorn Talk

Well that's it. We know we get stretched in the last 10 mins. We know we keep conceding late goals. We have to try something different, cos it's clearly not working. It's either that or we just fold our arms, scratch our heads and accept that we are going to keep losing games late on for the...

Why Thorn is a good manager - Reasons Listed

I personally think we are too defensive away from home. I think we must be sitting back too much trying to either gain drwas or cling on to leads and when it gets to the last 5 mins or so and we're getting bombarded by the opposition we simply can't cope. We know we are short in numbers, so...

The fixtures of the teams we have to catch

Agree. This is our only hope though., no matter how slim that is. I know people are talking about over 50+ points to play for, but the bottom line is we had to pick up something last night. Don't see how people can believe we are going to win the 3 games to overtake our rivals while these...

Good ol Andy,He's doing his best Brigade

You have missed off 'tiredness' Rev. That is a factor. Our sqaud is thin and we are playing the same players week in, week out. There have been times though where AT has failed to bring on fresh legs from the bench.
