25 more points needed to stay up, can we do it?

Was expecting a relegation scrap. When we were 7 points adrift at Christmas though, that was the time i said we were down.

    Millwall v Middlesborough tonight

Would be happy with that, but it's Leshtur next at the Crisp Bowl. Forest was our big chance.

    Cody Macdonald may return Saturday

At the end of the day we need quality. If McDonald can provide that then great.

25 more points needed to stay up, can we do it?

If everyone loses all their games? Seriously? I know what you're trying to say but that simply isn't going to happen is it. We need to win 5 games as a very minimum alongside some draws to have any chance whatsoever. I can see that maybe we can win 5 games at home possibly, but where are...

    Cody Macdonald may return Saturday

But why are no loan players coming in? Doesn't make sense. Portsmouth have lined players up to come in where the parent club are paying all the wages. If they can do that, then why can't we? It wouldn't cost us a penny. Pile of horseshit.

25 more points needed to stay up, can we do it?

But why would we suddenly win 6 or 7 games after only getting 6 wins all season? Why on earth would that happen? That's fantasy thinking to my mind.

I'm sure everyone knew who you were talking about, Nick. Used to hate going to the job centre. So many there where it is plain to see they have no interest whatsoever in getting a job.

BARNSLEY WIN Leshtur L CRYSTAL PALACE WIN BIRMIGHAM L Watford L Cardiff L PORTSMOUTH WIN Hull L PETERBOROUGH WIN Bristol D Burnley L MILLWALL WIN DONCASTER WIN Southampton D Think that is the very, very best we can hope for and that WILL NOT be enough. That will be a return of 19 points...

25 more points needed to stay up, can we do it?

It won't be 50 this year. Convinced of that. Think it will be around 45-46. We need 20 points minimum. Went through the fixtures and I predicted 15 points for us (not a bad return at all), which will not be enough. Unless we pick up points on our travels we are doomed. Been saying that til I...

Fed up with this mess we call ccfc

I am losing interest too ..... and I have been going up since the 1960's. Unfortunately I was too young for the Sky Blue revolution so only recall the struggles in what was the 1st Division back then and pretty much after Jimmy Hill had gone. On the whole I have endured a rough ride...

    Millwall v Middlesborough tonight

For what it's worth, Millwall lost and we remain 6 points adrift of them. Unfortunately, you kind of get the feeling that in 3 games time we will still be 6 points adrift of them.

Because my wife earns a princely sum. Apparently £15,000 a year is a high flying, stock market player type of wage.

They weren't paying me anything but told me I needed to sign on every two weeks. I just told them I wasn't coming anymore. Then got a letter telling me I was no longer entitled to Job Seeker's Allowance as I had signed off. Yup, thanks for telling me I am no longer going to get what I...

Job Centre give me a lot of shit. I just turn to them and answer with, "But I don't even qualify for Job Seeker's Allowance and you don't pay me a single penny, why are you giving me a hard time?"

I send them a CV and covering letter. Think it puts them off that I have quite a bit of supervisory expereince and they think that maybe i will find it beneath me. A minion job on basic wage. Doesn't bother me though.

I have applied to supermarkets (Tesco, Sainsbury, Asda, Morrisons, B&Q) and have been turned down by all of them.

    Millwall v Middlesborough tonight

Just so galling that we had the chance to actually be outside the bottom 3 for the first time since October and we simply didn't turn up, despite a massive swell of fans being there to cheer the team on. Thanks, tossers!!:facepalm:

Agree with that, Rob. Companies like to employ the employed. Once you are unemployed for a while everyone just seems to ignore you.

    Millwall v Middlesborough tonight

I realy think the Forest game was a big chance missed. Had we won that then even I, who has said all season that we will be relegated, would have believed we had a chance.
