Same, I thought he was really good, his first touch is still a bit poor but honestly the player has grown so much from the young loanee we had at the start of the season. Also nice to see the way he tried to get the crowd going for a corner, its good to see how much it means to the loan players...

    New scoreboard

So glad they managed to fix it and started using it again as I love the old style font their currently using on it. I've always thought the main scoreboard is in the wrong position so it's nice to not have to crane your neck to see it.

    Ticket checks - be warned

Same, family have 3 ST's (one adult, two senors). When they can't make it, I'll often take a friend to the game so I'm not sitting on my own. I don't really see how it's an issue for the occasional game (and also trying to convert a man city fan to the proper sky blues). For me personally I'd...

    European breakaway league

From what I understood watching sky sports, the German and Franch clubs so far have declined to enter. Never thought I'd agree with gary neville but fair play to him, he admitted he made money through it and doesn't have a problem with money in the sport, but that this is too far. I think the...

    ifollow 2019/20

I was locked out of my account (password reset), spent over an hour waiting on the live chat to get back to me in two seperate broswers. After looking at the score, kinda glad I watched youtube instead.

I've just had it stop working today (normal radio coverage) because I run an add blocker, sounds like their now going overboard.

    F1 2018 season

Went to my first Grand Prix this weekend, its a completely different animal than on TV, loved every second (apart from the result). Did any over Cov fans go from here? I saw three shirts (and I apologise to the guy in the Silverstone woodlands when I ran up to him and started 'shouting we've...

The "Have Sunderland Created Another Coventry Thread on Their Forum ?" thread

Couldn't care less about Sunderland, though that tweet did make me laugh. Sunderland fan in the village congratulated us today on getting promoted, so I'd be surprised if it wasn't just the internet being the internet.

    Congratulations

Completely this. Good luck to Exeter next season, the game was a victory for football over hoofball & hopefully you'll be in the autos next year!

    Exeter fans don't...........

Seems pretty level headed and understandable considering they finished 4th in the league and we can't really argue that we were a bit shaky at the start of the 2nd half. That said, people seem very focused on the dodgy/lucky decisions that went our way, forgetting that notts had their fair share...

    North based Sky Blues fans?

I completely agree. Lived near Scunny (ironically for a few months in Goxhill @Astute) and worked at the hospital for a fair number of years before moving even further north (just past Hull now) and if you went to anyone in Scunthorpe and told them they weren't Northern, they'd probably try to...

Match Thread Notts County v Coventry Friday 18th May

We were the better team, deserved it over the two legs and I'm sorry but if Noland is moaning over their second goal (which my gut said he was off, because the other guy was in the 6yrd box, you can't be there and not in play), then he really shouldn't have had 11 men on the pitch. The headbutt...

    F1 2018 season

Today was a bit of a joke. The idea that someone who was third (and going nowhere) can leap frog both his team mate and the leader under safety car rules, is pathetic. If it was anyone else, Ferrari would have been spitting feathers and the FIA would have already changed the rules. It's nice to...

Our Away support v The Championship

My family & I were most likely there (I'd have been 7 at the time so can't remember). We used to go to every home/away game. I've still got the scars & chills from going to Aberdeen during pre-season.

    Who could/should you have supported?

Gosh how long do I have? Born in Yeovil, so I guess I should really be a glover, but grew up around the country, spent childhood years in Norfolk so potentially a Norwich City supporter, but spent my teenage years just outside Bristol & have a bit of a soft spot for Bristol City. Dads from Cov...

Any chance we will be seeing these kinds of celebration s anytime soon?

I love the NFL, I've only gotten into it in the past few years but would love to go to a live game (and the build up). Football when played properly, is the far superior sport, however as others have said, the NFL is exciting and I even forced Tonylinc on here to watch a game last year (he'll...

    Butts Park ruled out

Personally I like; ""Hopefully this is the start of a new era," was his message to the City faithful ahead of the Southampton match" It certainly was the start of a new era... Just not the era anyone was hoping for, but more one that will be looked back upon with sadness and maybe even a hint...

    20 years ago today since....

As someone who's about to turn 30 next year (a long with many city fans I'm guessing), he was easily the best player I've seen in our shirt (not counting say boosts testimonial or the half a dozen games Wise was here for). He still to this day sounds like a fantastic guy and I don't blame him...

Fair play to FGR, keeper mistake and they took it. Can't really blame them. ... That said, my god we're dire aren't we? Thanks SISU.

Video Highlights | Walsall 2-2 Coventry (City win on Penalties)

I forgot just how good Misfud could be when he wanted to. Really shows how far we've fallen in ten years when you look at his kind of shots. Sounded like an exciting game on the iPlayer, looking at the highlights seems we can't seem to just hit the ball and both those pens were incredibly soft.
