Anyone been to a City game with conflicting hopes of the outcome?

When Elliott Ward was our penalty taker I used to put a few quid on him for first scorer which paid off a few times, bookies never seemed to cotton on that he was our nominated taker. What a time to be alive.

I remember the talk at the time that Ranson wanted Robins in over whoever was in charge at the time. I was completely against it, who's Robins? Just one of Ray's old pals I bet, not a football manager. I think I dismissed Messi and a Ariel Ortega tribute act at one point too. This is the only...

Those who attend tonight will have priority...

Has it been confirmed by anyone that buying a ticket for tonight will mean anything with regards to hypothetical final tickets? Because it makes no sense for the club to not announce it in advance and encourage more ticket sales.

If they've mutually agreed to cancel and he's immediately gone to Wimbledon it may even be the equivalent of a free transfer, just without the two clubs having to do the paperwork involved (I'm assuming it's a pile of administrative timewasting).

Yeah, but he didn't because the word you chose to pick out is actually fine. Criticising people for 'trying to be clever' or posts that aren't in layman's terms speaks volumes. Let's do away with typing all together and record ourselves grunting and scratching.

That's lovely, but it still means that you've criticised someone for false reasoning.

'Plebian' is a legitimate spelling of the word, for what it's worth.

If they actually required people to have a ticket stub (assuming any of this is true), the sensible thing would be to announce it ahead of time to encourage people on the fence to go up. To turn around and say 'oh by the way, if you didn't go last night you're out of luck' would be...

Screw that, I'm looking up Champions League final prices for 2017.

One of the problems with people needing a ticket stub for this game (if actually true) is that for the Sheffield Utd game as it had already kicked off they opened another gate and took our fivers without giving out a ticket. If they're expecting similar scenes to the point they're advising...

When I went in '95 (0-0 vs Uruguay, the worst football match to ever be played) we were on those little stools near the front with no back. Pile of crap.

We should have tied him down to a long-term contract and held our nerve until Chelsea needed to replace Cole. congrats City, you've fucked up again
