If you were a Bristol fan

I guess Paxman, when Hussey went down injured in the centre circle on Monday Thorn should have simply told him that pain is for wimps and to get up and get on with the game. Hussey the fookin wussey!!!

If you were a Bristol fan

Very hard to jump for a header though with a bad back I would have thought. And I'm sure they would all play if they could. Just when you are operating at 60 or 70 % it is much harder to have the same influence on the game as you could if you were at 100%. You ever got up on a Sunday morning...

An absolute blinder if Wolves manage to stay up!!

If you were a Bristol fan

It's the Burnley game that concerns me more than any other. If we could somehow pull off a win we may well be back to just one point behind Bristol and then with Donny up for us at home and West Ham for them you would have to fancy our chances. I just can't see us getting that win though. I...

Just been on BBC South Today.....

Well not any longer. they have now go their just desserts. Not at all right that they could have got away with just the 10 point penalty and survived. Relegation is the right and proper punishment. I would say that from now on in any team going into admin should be relegated, City included.

    Yeah, it's the rent

Maybe this is a daft question, but is the rent a set amount each year and not governed by which division we are in? If not, why didn't we make an agreement as such that the rent in the Premier would be one amount but that it would reduce or increase dependant on which division we were in...

    Yeah, it's the rent

Sadly, Baker was seemingly at last coming good in those two games before he got injured.
  9. Otis

    Yeah, it's the rent

Did that for David Bell and he'd be owing us money!

    How many points for survival?

We were trying to keep things tight and dominate possession if anything. We weren't exactly throwing bodies forwards were we.

    How many points for survival?

Certainly can't see us winning 3 games and it would pretty much have to be 3 games in a row, so we do need Bristol to fail. 2 defeats in succession to Brum and West Ham would help for starters.

    How many points for survival?

Platt, Nimely and Keogh were all playing with knocks too. It's like the walking wounded. Or in our case, The Walking Dead. The mind is willing but the spirit is weak.

    Yeah, it's the rent

As has already been stated, CCFC only account for 20% of the revenue. Plenty of other stuff going on there. It certainly wouldn't be sat there doing nothing.

    How many points for survival?

My worry now is that we will lie down and go down without as much as a whimper on Saturday. Kind of expecting a "feeling sorry for ourselves" attitude and an easy win for Burnley. Going to to have to predict a 0-3 defeat. Hope I'm wrong of course, but i think a combination of our being back...

German second division yesterday - Fairplay rarely seen

They didn't use fair play in World War II did they!!! Fickle fookers.

    Yeah, it's the rent

There is a link somewhere. just need to find it. :thinking about::thinking about: Thorn said the players were all tired on Monday and now the money is exhausted. There you go!! :D Thorn's fault!!
  17. Otis

    Yeah, it's the rent

Very hard to though isn't it when we know if we go down things are going to get much worse than they already are. Said before, it's takeover or increasingly downward spiral.

    Bad news / Good news

It was just a joke. Just suggesting that maybe in just over a year's time we will only need to finish 3rd from bottom rather than 4th. Twas a joke.
  19. Otis

    Yeah, it's the rent

And why wouldn't they? Council have said they will treat CCFC as they do any non payer of monies owed.
  20. Otis

    Yeah, it's the rent

    I said 'almost.'
