Both decent blokes I agree, but there the similarity ends. Mowbray is a touch cookie, an experienced manager with serious gravitas, who won't be a yes man. He'll take no nonsense from sisu...and can teach them a thing or two about football, and what it's like to be genuinely passionate about...

I like his reference to what he plans for us next season...suggests a new contract will be sorted once we survive. A good pointer I'd say.

I suspect this is a very shrewd move by Mowbray for all the obvious reasons, and he has nothing to lose. He's an old campaigner with loads of gravitas, and he's not going to be pushed around. I like it...someone else dictating the rules, if that is indeed what's happened. Can't be sure of...

To me Mowbray would be a great appointment. Strikes me as an honest person who loves his football, and that's a good starting point I'd say!
