I never understood this process, So Sporting bought Vik for say 20mil with add ons and agreement of 10% on sell on profit. So are we owed any money from the initial fee and who pays it...
Do the Arsenal pay any remaining balance and Sporting pay the 10%. Or does the original deal with Sporting...
If the Browne signing comes off he too is a better player in the no 10 role other than a flat CM. He and Rudoni are definitely not no 6 type players. That role we still need to find which is why the NZ lad was going to be an important signing.
Another young player on a 4 year deal and more importantly a player that doesn't need to settle in or get to know the group. Very good signing and hope we see a few more announcements before the players return to ryton.
I do think Browne, Leonard and Barron have been offered deals at the club. We would be very unlucky to miss out of all 3, so id expect 1 of those to get or already be done. But 1st announcement i think will be the coach or a new sponsor.
It only turns into a fiasco if the club starts talking about potential signings in public. We under King dont sée any value in discussing transfers until its done. And even then its doesn't seem overly important to announce.
This so call deal could of been off for weeks if ever on. And while...
This is why the club stay quiet about the dealings,i said weeks ago King will not be happy this got out. But if the player thinks he is better suited elsewhere and didn't want to come good luck to the fella.
As for time wasted im sure deadlines or feelings of the player would of been known a...
Bidwell is a top pro and will fight for his spot come pre season. But the club obviously see its an area they can improve and get younger. Bidwell is in the last year of his contract and probably wants a better deal. While the club may think it adds no value money wise and Robins might think he...
He is a player i could see us interested in, young, plays multiple positions, quick and looks very technical with the ball. I cant imagine he would cost too much or even be on too much, low risk high reward signing of a player in a position of need.
Club don't seem to put much value on signing announcements All very much about business and keeping it as need to know basis. I don't mind this way of doing it, as long as they get the right player in the end all is good.
This club has changed so much in a very short space of time. They still get things wrong but how they have got many things so right. A good start is important but the support is second to none and if given that good start the CBS will be some atmosphere especially big night games.
Signing Binks has no downside, in fact i think he could become a very good CB that could go higher. He seemed to enjoy it at the club and would be an ideal signing.
Good competition for Kitching and for me if he signs he will have the starting jersey to lose. I haven't given up on Kitching but...
Tatsu was 1st pictured in the airport with the training kit on before his name was even mentioned. We definitely don't do business like we did before and im happy to see players announced with no mention of them before any deal is agreed.
The window opens on the 14th so im sure the club will...
