What was our attendance yesterday? Certainly boosted by a couple of thousand disappointed wigan fans, but hope we can maintain a decent number week in week out.

Afraid this is identical to mine. See us being very cagey for the start of the season, and think it will take us a while to pick up steam. Could be fine come the end of the season, but think its going to be a concerning start.

re: Burge, weirdly from reports it sounds like hes been quite shaky, even for him, so it doesnt fill me with confidence. That Reece-Cook sounds like hes done well enough to be considered if Burge doesnt find form.

It is a shame that i think we need to concentrate all remaining budget on 2/3 strikers and 1/2 pacey wingers/att midfielders. Otherwise he would make a good signing. I just dont think it makes sense to bring him in if it means we could afford all the above thats required.

Crazy signing for championship. Just shows the difference between where we are ( couldnt afford 200k for a player) and top end of the league above us.

Really think this is going to turn out a very shrewd signing. Just the sort of player we have been screaming for for years.
