I said all season that there was something wrong in out set up away from home.
Get the feeling that in many games we were too cautious and set-up not to lose.
The fact we took points off 7 of the top 12 teams in the league at home proves that we could compete on an all but equal footing...
Despite ending their season at the Ricoh Arena with disappointing defeats against Millwall and Doncaster Rovers to confirm relegation to League One, Coventry City ended the 2011/12 campaign with just one point less from their home games than in the previous season.
2010/11 saw the Sky Blues win...
No backtrackimg from me.
Consistently said that we should consider all options and at least not dismiss anything.
Where have I backtracked? Just think we need a complete overhaul and shouldn't rule anything out.
I haven't even said that I want to change the kit.:thinking about:
Steered well clear of it.
Also completely avoid BGT, X Factor and other such related shows.
Luckily I have a Tivo box and can give all these shows a three thumbs down!! :D
Well that was two things I was worrying about.
One that for many teams there it has seemed to remain quite static over all these years and secondly that a few teams there are now non-league, Mansfield, York, Chester, Grimsby.
And found it amazing to see how little had changed in terms of the teams down there in the lower leagues and League One in particular.
Third Division 1976/1977
Mansfield Town
Brighton & Hove Albion
Crystal Palace
Rotherham United
Wrexham
Preston North End
Bury
Sheffield Wednesday
Lincoln...
What we do need is someone to come in with a vision as Jimmy Hill did.
I know it's an old cliche, but we need someone to ride in on his white horse and grab this club by the scruff of the neck and give it a big shaking.
A few more games to be had too in League One with entering the cups at an earlier stage and this Jonnstone Paint Trophy thing.
We are going to need a bigger squad and this we were saying if we remained in the Chaampionship.
An easy victory for Saints next week.
Our best player is out suspended and that means it will have to be young Jordan Willis coming in and no central defensive cover on the bench.
3-0 to Saints and a very easy stroll in the park for you I fear.
I remember.
Saw a programme once though by scientists and they did say wearing stripes can make a side appear bigger and prove to be an advantage.
First thing I do when I go to bed tonight is to paint stripes on my penis to test the theory!
