Would have preferred Simms to tuck it away, he deserved it as really good show of strength and control. But again good follow up from the team.

Well a linesman would never have given that goal, so we can thank technology for once.

Haji was just offside on that one. And second time he's kicked the ball away, foolish.

Saka was easily 2 yards onside. Incredible at this point.

This is where Thomas and Kitching need to show they have a brain. Don't do anything stupid just to look hard, they've got the better of Dykes as it stands. Let him get himself sent off.

    Timewasting

The first time the GK pretended to be injured, you could see their number 5 whisper in his ear and he immediately went down. Seconds before that he was just turning looking for the ball without any issue. It's truly rotting the game.

Included in those 'some' is Frank Lampard and the coaching team.

    My take on the window

I'm really tired of people's sole argument that IF key players get injured or suspended, then we are weaker..... Right... Wow, real groundbreaking stuff there. That is the exact same case for every single football team going. For the first time in my memory, we haven't sold / lost a key...

Match Thread Oxford Utd vs Coventry City Saturday 30th August 3pm KO

Smart by Oxford player to move the ball when ref not looking, but for none of the wall or GK to react and shift more is just mind boggling really. It's been coming all half.

The ref missed the memo about allowing more physicality this season. What the hell is Wright meant to do.

Torp is better than a peak Sheaf. Nevermind an out of form, low in effort, injury prone one.

Oggy said he made a decent stop?.... Maybe he could have pushed further out but "decent" doesn't equal poor. Think people forget quite how bad Collins was already...

Brainless from Bobby. Ridiculous people criticising Rushworth, very difficult to do a lot with that especially in these conditions.

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

What was the translation of this? I'd still prefer a loan, I think there's a player there just needs proper game time which he won't get here.

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

This is the bit I don't get - whoever places the club under an embargo is because of poor financial management. It shouldn't be a case of if they want to sell or not, they should be having to evidence better financial cash flow - which would be sales of key assets. Key assets which you'd argue...

    Stadium update

Wow. Didn't see this coming. Hats off to Doug. Can the usual bunch maybe take a break now from their utter drivel 'bling' nonsense. He couldn't back the club in a better way.

Match Thread Coventry City v Real Betis (Friendly) - 30th July - 7PM

Just for some context, Bellerin is on £52k a week. Cucho believed to be £62k etc. Now Binks has gone (😉) , that's like 3 or 4 of our starting lineup for either of them.

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

I guess I was thinking more especially against those teams mentioned above who just completely sat in. Derby, Plymouth and Portsmouth who no coincidence were some of our worst performances. Yet it feels like if we had snatched a goal early on we would have controlled each one of them very...

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

Think we've got to be more confident and take some more shots, too many times passing it round edge of opponents box, trying to get wide to put in a cross to a then absolutely jam packed area. (I exclude Sheaf from the above opinion... Please stop)
