Championship Club Membership - 1st Sept

The way I see it, you pay £260 and you get 23 games on ifollow (normally £10 a match) and a shirt (approx £40) so already good value. If fans are allowed in you get to watch the matches live as a bonus.

How many season tickets did we have last season? Was there more than 3500?

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

The premier league have voted to use unweighted ppg if the season doesn’t finish including relegation. I can’t see any way now we won’t be promoted

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

hopefully we are that one club. Maybe the Tranmere proposal is on the table

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Maybe note a vote, but there needs to be a majority of championship clubs for the proposal and if there are against it, it leaves lots of questions

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

I think this could be bad news, championship voted against?

Would getting promoted this season be perfect timing?

We have got every chance of making some good loan signings or cheaper perm signings. Teams will be looking at cutting their wage bill. We haven’t overspent in the market the last couple of seasons and I’m confident Robins and the scouting teams will get the players we need

Would getting promoted this season be perfect timing?

If we do get promoted this season (I’m 99% certain), I’m thinking it gives us a much better chance of staying in the championship next year than it would in previous seasons. Many teams in the championship will be hit hard financially and with players on big wages, can they afford to keep them...

    What happens if...

That’s kind of my point, with null and void off the table, no situation suits them so they just don’t vote.

    What happens if...

I used Gillingham as an example, but maybe a team like Doncaster may be more feasible. They have every chance of making the play offs, or even automatics and they don’t want to be seen to the fans as not giving it a go, but they just can’t afford to take the risk.

    What happens if...

In reality, the likelihood of this happening is small, but so was complete shut down of the leagues. I’m just throwing it out there as no one has spoken about it, but it is possible. I’ve been to many agm’s where people have chosen not to vote as they don’t like the options given

    What happens if...

When neither option is a good one for them, they may just decide to choose not to vote either way

    What happens if...

So 51% of the vote is needed to get either option of the vote through. What happens if 11 teams vote ppg, 11 teams vote to play on and 1 team abstains? In this scenario no one gets the majority. I can picture this happening as a club like Gillingham, who still have half a chance of making the...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Is it just me, but apart from one tweet from a journalist, there has been no official confirmation from anyone else from the efl or any of the clubs
