    McNulty or Armstrong

The post says ' if you had both players'!

    McNulty or Armstrong

Armstrong tailed off badly at the end of the season with us... took an age to score that 20th goal. McNulty has improved immensely and is peaking at just the right time. Not the same killer instinct but a better all round player. I go for McNulty... more a team player without sacrificing...

    McNulty or Armstrong

It was a very exciting time when Armstrong was banging them in and importantly the crowds returned. McNulty has proved a brilliant acquisition.... so if you had both players but could only play one of them, which one is the question?

    Myeloma UK

Yes...thank you for raising my awareness, and how nice to get such a positive response on this forum, and I'm glad to be part of it. I too will have some cash on me and very happy to make a contribution. Your explanation really helps, because people waving buckets at you without really knowing...

I’m hoping for a boring 0-0 on Saturday

Negative thinking will be our downfall. We need to think of winning this game, getting some momentum, and gaining a favourable position in the play offs.

    Babies at Cov games

There are a couple of squawking 8 yr olds (ish) who often sit just behind me...they spend the whole game chattering and laughing (loud) about stuff that has nothing to do with the game, playing on their mobiles, with dad interjecting and trying to get them to take an interest...very...

Match Thread Coventry City v Morecambe Match Thread Saturday 5th May

Discovered yesterday that my daughter and son-in-law are going to this one! They don't do football. They'll be in another block so won't have to explain the rules or who's who. But it's interesting...something has got through to them...and I hope it's a sign of a big crowd on Saturday...

    Biamou or JCH ?

Biamou is a class act! He has great ball control, wins almost every header, and is a team player. And he's already a player who creates time to play the ball...never panics. Defenders stand off him...this guy controls his own space. Exciting...and let's not forget there's more to a striker...

    McNulty's Goals

Biamou is a quality player...imaginative, with great ball control and the ability to win most headers constructively. The goals are coming...it can only get better. I predict big time football for him!

time to calm down and go again

Let's be realistic...both Mansfield's games are winnable, and they have a better goal difference, so the pressure is on us. Squeaky bum time definitely this w/e.

Match Thread Coventry City at Cheltenham Town Match Thread - Saturday 28th Apr

That's not what I'm saying...what I'm saying is , what's the point of the thread! We all say the same thing every week. Ok so I'm pissed off with what happened last night, and it's hard to know what say with any real enthusiasm at the moment.

    Lost Wallet

Yeah! Once left a wallet with £150 in it on a bar in London...woke up the next morning in a panic realised it was missing. Went back to the pub in hope, and yep, someone had handed it in...all the cash etc still there. Glad you got it back!

    Robins' blindspot!

That's true...but I kinda feel a decent run of games might sort that out. His positional play and reading of the game is way better than Haynes, so his speed is less of an issue. Yesterday the only two decent looking tackles Haynes made were when he was out of position and had to frantically...
