43. I checked back to 1992/93 and 43 would have been the lowest anyone has stayed up on. Though no team in 4th from bottom has ever had 43 it has to be said. It has always been a number of points clear of 42 and the 3rd from bottom team.Usually around 46-50 points.

Sorry, been looking at the table that would be if Portsmouth results are expunged. Had that table up on my screen from yesterday and forgot to change it back. Bristol only have 30 points in that scenario.
