I guess because the move and so on at the moment is still just a threat or even a bargaining tool. Until it's confirmed otherwise, I still don't believe we'll be playing anywhere but the Ricoh.
I take your point for the most part, as it should be a two-way thing and people shouldn't be shamed or hounded for doing whatever they feel is best.
Ashdown's thing about all the people attending lacking 'moral fibre' however is the kind of nonsense I'm referring to, as it's both ridiculous...
I'm not getting hysterical at all, please don't try that old tact.
Numerous threads here contain people having digs at fans who aren't planning to join their boycott or plan to go watch the team next season, it's needless and petty.
People tend to get defensive when being needlessly attacked. There's no 'guilt' on my part as I'm not planning to go to home games next season if that's your insinuation, but if other people want to attend to support their team they can - they're not traitors, scum, helping to kill the club or...
Better, obviously. But we're not there and it's on merit, so how can we pretend to be above all this and 'bigger' than teams that pull in more crowds and are more successful?
The disadvantages of keeping the club alive are? Hey look, shitty spin works any way you like!
This whole guilt-trip of fans who want to continue attending is absolutely shameful. We've had season ticket holders described as scum, and people who may give them A PENNY MORE HASHTAG as lacking...
Everyone who follows this limping mess of a football team can call themselves a 'real' fan, it's not as if we're in a position to attract the casual glory lot is it?
If you want to keep going because you want to follow the team wherever they play, go for it.
If you want to boycott in the hope...
I do like how someone who constantly undermines and insults anyone not following their exact viewpoint can comment on morality. The sheer lack of self-awareness must be so liberating.
It's hardly common sense to use a reduced ticket offer/blackmail to justify how 'big' a club is. Particularly when clubs listed as 'smaller' have actually achieved things beyond losing in a JPT semi-final in front of a lot of disappointed people.
It's still a Puma kit, Genesis are one of their licenced manufacturers - http://www.genesissports.co.uk/
Imagine a sportswear equivalent of Findus having that Romanian company packing the horses for them.
Holiday Inn in Walsgrave. It was the case that you had to apply for an invite but it seems everyone who applied got a response, so there are probably places available if you try [email protected] (he's the chap who sent the invites out)
