I will just clarify, RBS bought the bank at the centre of the deal, because its management made consistently bad choices.
Sunak was a partner in the hedge fund that lobbied for RBS to buy it. But you're right, doesn't look good for Sunak
I actually wouldn't be against it, as long as there is universal healthcare where required.
I've been fortunate enough that the two employers I've worked for offer private healthcare, with the usual bit of excess, as part of my contract, and use them where I can for anything non-emergency.
