Alex Mowatt would be an absolute dream but he’s got a year and half left on his contract and I don’t see West Brom letting him go.

To be fair Lampard said he’s got bags of talent but he’s a ‘project player’. I suspect we are looking at him longer term and I doubt we will be seeing anything decent until deep into next season. I assume that’s why we’re looking at players who are ready now in the short term.

I actually liked him on the right and didn’t think he was anywhere near as bad as people made out. Had some good performances from there and was always trying to drive into the box. Granted he looks better on the left but I always thought the criticism on the RW was a massive overreaction.
