Official January transfer window for CCFC

Not sure many people are saying that to be fair, Shmmeee. Just when asked who we need to get rid of, many are saying that he's the sort of player we need to be looking to offload.

    James Maddison - 'The Prince'

Yep, think we all know that, but he is going to get targeted I'm sure and that's probably by all teams.

But the King is dead, long live the King. Old City, yes, new City, no!

    James Maddison - 'The Prince'

I think we need to be a bit meaner then. We are the nice guys at the moment, not surrounding referees, not pleading for yellow and red cards and not getting in the officials' faces. I think the first time someone has a go at taking a lump out of James Maddison we should be right in the ref's...

City Centre, what to go and what to build

If you're new to Coventry, that Friargate junction is a leaves you in complete buffudlement.

    James Maddison - 'The Prince'

Prince? PAH! He's a king!! In fact, why don't we just call him God!, the supreme being! Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk

    Song for Maddison?

Or maybe one that's a bit more drum n bass.

But then logic says this is a great chance for 3 points and that we need our best players in the starting lineup.

    Will SISU gamble?

Guess we will never know, but would they have backed any other manager in the same way they have backed Mowbray? I think they realise they have a gem here and totally trust him to bring success.

    Will SISU gamble?

Maybe because TM is saying, as well as loans, we also need to bring in players that are our own and not loans. Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk

Not sure. He's a central midifeld player isn't he? I do like box to box players and Fleck has shown a little bit of that in the past, but I think those sorts of players with a great engine and who can defend and attack are invaluable.

    Ryan Haynes

I didn't think Jordan Clarke was so bad myself. He had some cracking games for us and then some awful ones, so I guess it was his lack of consistency. Similar scenario with Aaron Phillips at the moment I would say. Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk

    Best City XI of all-time - LM/LW

Don't remember Rees so well either. I remember him as a left winger, but I also recall Dave Clements playing wide left quite a lot when I was going up.

I think TM said he needed game time in the U21's. For away games could we consider Rose as well as Vincelot and Fleck? My understanding is he is a box to box player and neither Fleck or Vincelot are truly that.

I think the plan WAS to play Ricketts at full back wasn't it? I am not so sure Johnson would have been first choice left back. He's always looked all at sea over there. For me Haynes should go out on loan and get some game time. We simply haven't got the cover though to allow that to happen...

City Centre, what to go and what to build

As I have said Grendel, it is changing. Have you been in the city centre lately? Tiger has opened, Shuh and now Moss Bros. A number of restaurants sprouting up as well. Every time I go down I find it quite vibrant and busy. I think John Lewis is earmarked for the Friargate, train station...

I think we are in with an excellent chance of points. We shouldn't at all be scared of Walsall. They may have beaten Peterborough 2-0 on Monday, but the reports are that they scored 2 in the last 10 mins and it was very much against the run of play. Their first goal was a deflection too. When...

    Best City XI of all-time - LM/LW

Well I dare say I may well have picked him if I had seen him play more than a couple of times, but I didn't. Do you still want me to pick him anyway? ;)

City Centre, what to go and what to build

It's good that they are, but they need to get the balance right. I wouldn't say Cosy Club is aimed at students. Probably not Los Iguanas either. There's not many bars sprouting up, but there is in terms of restaurants.
