Rarely but sometimes. His career is stalling right now. I’d be looking to leave ASAP if I was him. He’d have more lucrative offers than us though, but I do think we might be a better environment.

Only because he can’t be arsed for Sheff United. He only signed because they were in the prem and paying him more, now they’re not and he gets the money anyway. The only way he re-signs for us is if he wants to come back for sentimental reasons so you’d imagine he’ll work a bit harder.

2 weeks ago half the fans wanted Haji gone! I think we’d keep EMC, he’s good but not prem level. Haji and MVE would prob go but we would be able to get decent fees. £20m+ total. It wouldn’t be a total rebuild. Obviously this is a massive chance though.

Permanent deals are always going to be harder to do in Jan. There's still a week of the window left. Our business so far has arguably netted us 2 extra points already. I'm confident we'll get a good CM in.
