Neil Warnock Interview, Mirrors our club too

I have said it before and I will say it again, David Bell is exactly the sort of player we don't want at this club. He's like Freddie Eastwood in a different guise. Bags of ability but the end product is just not acceptable. He is a passenger at times. One good performance in every 5 games...

    Portsmouth vs Millwall

We just need to see the back of Pompey. It's out of us and Bristol I think. Millwall have pulled off some very good results lately.

    Deegan.

He was poor but I don't think AT had any other option other than to play him did he? Bigi was very poor on Saturday. So, it was either play the out of form Bigi or the very poor Deegan. Rock and hard place.

    Glen

    Was thinking the same thing.
  5. Otis

    Right, Burnley

I don't think we will. A draw would be great.

    Can you blame Thorn today?

He obivously didn't though I don't think. He seemingly allowed it to get out of hand before he did anything about it.
  7. Otis

    Right, from the horses mouth!!

Glad you are privvy to what goes on in the dressing room. How do you know they weren't injured? If you don't have any facts to back that up that's a pretty silly thing to say. Platt has had a back injury for many weeks apparently.
  8. Otis

    Right, Burnley

It is entirely reasonable to accept that Bristol may lose both of their next two games though. West Ham and Brum. It is also reasonable to accept that we should pick up some points from our next two games, even if it is just 1 or 2. Bristol may well have easy games after that but it is also...

Why i think league one will be good for us.

We will probably have to go through all this again in League One next season, just the same as we would in the Championship.

    Can you blame Thorn today?

Which is something Marcus Hall alluded to on CWR. Said that perhaps Thorn is too friendly and soft and pally pally and that, that is fine with the young players who probably need an arm around the shoulder, but that sometimes senior players need a kick up the backside.
  11. Otis

    Right, from the horses mouth!!

Just as good (or bad) as an injured Platt. AKA fook all!
  12. Otis

    Right, Burnley

Why is it delusional to only think two games ahead? Don't understand that logic at all. The very reason people are looking just two matches ahead is because Bristol have two very hard games ahead. After those 2 games we could be back above them. Don't think it is at all delusional to think in...

Just be listening to Dean Saunders' post match interview

Where he said he wasn't going to make any excuses but then made lots and lots of excuses. The one thing that stuck out for me though was his bemoaning about injuries to players, but it turns out that he was able to make 9 changes to today's line-up. NINE!!! That is incredible. They must have...

    Right, from the horses mouth!!

Who should have been substituted for who may I ask?
  15. Otis

    Right, Burnley

To be perfectly honest I would rather we went all out and lost 4-0 than tried to keep it tight and lost 1-0.
  16. Otis

face facts we fucked it up

We have one chance left I feel. A win at Burnley somehow combined with a Bristol loss at Brum and it will be back to 1 point, with West Ham up next for them and Millwall at home for us. Last chance saloon.
  17. Otis

    Right, Burnley

Well yes, but what I am talking about is the cautious approach. Think Thorn always goes out with the intention of winning. My question is do we keep it tight and try to grab a goal from somewhere or go gung ho from the off?
  18. Otis

    Can you blame Thorn today?

But Bell has been missing for 6 games and as far as I'm aware has had no match practice in any reserve game. Can't see how we could have picked him today, not even for the bench. I am guessing Thomas is injured too as he seems to have simply disappeared.
  19. Otis

    Right, Burnley

Do we go all out for the win thinking we need to make up the points sharpish, or would you be happy with us setting our stall out not to lose and a point being a point gained? I just say now what the fook and let's just go all out for the win. If we lose 4-0 we lose 4-0. A draw just puts...

    Current squad for the cut

I'm pretty sure Sky Blue Sam will be staying, but in line with all the cuts, next season he is going to be slimmer.
