Closing the Back Rows, Opening Block 14

Because you go in blocks 14 and 15 to make some noise and not for a bit of peace and quiet and to be in a more congested area and not in a place with a bit more space and don't mind excessive swearing and usually many people who go to blocks 14 and 15 don't really care so much where they sit as...

Closing the Back Rows, Opening Block 14

Better sense logistically but not so pleasing on the eye aesthetically as it will look worse for the cameras and emptier than if it were at at the back.

Closing the Back Rows, Opening Block 14

There's a lot of old fellas around me and they invariably sit on the ends of rows for an early escape on 85 mins. I sit on the end because I am invariably in a rush and need to get out quickly at the end of games. Move all these people and they are going to mightily pee'd off when they find...

Closing the Back Rows, Opening Block 14

I sit in Row SS. That's about 6 rows from the back and I'm happy there. It's my ST seat. Also sit on the end of a row and am just about in line with the halfway line, so get probably the best view in the whole stadium. How on earth are they going to move me and give me a comparable seat...

Shaw: I won't ditch the diamond

Which is what I have been saying all along and what I was saying when AT was sacked and people on here were saying 'Oh no!' to Shaw as soon as his name came up, even though people have no idea whether he was going to be able to do the job successfully or not.

Baker: Players got Thorn the sack

Don't think people have accused him of being lazy have they? Just that a bit like David Bell he seems to have the attributes to be better than he usually is and on occasions he does look really good, only then to have a number of games in a row where he does nothing.

Shaw: I won't ditch the diamond

Yep, agree with that. Coleman talked bollocks and Dowie was away with the fairies. I don't even think Andy Thorn knew what Andy Thorn was talking about. Boothroyd talked the talk though. Been impressed with what Shaw has come out with thus far.

Baker: Players got Thorn the sack

Don't say that, I got absolutely slaughtered on GMK for suggesting such a thing last year.

Shaw: I won't ditch the diamond

I am not for a single minute advocating Richard Shaw for manager. We need to get it right this time. Shaw could well prove to be a good manager, who knows. Are we prepared to wait and see though?

Baker: Players got Thorn the sack

Or deaths? :o The last time was the anniversary of his brother dying.

Shaw: I won't ditch the diamond

Thing is, Shaw is not Thorn and a lot of people can only see that as a good thing. When was the last time we came back from a losing position to win under Thorn? AT fell short of what is required to be a football manager. The jury is still out for Richard Shaw.

    City on the telly? (again)

Shaw: I won't ditch the diamond

How many actually said it wasn't the diamond?

    The JPT

Not allowed to. You have to play quite a high percentage of your first team I believe.

    Bbc 1, now!

A slightly unnerving post anyway, considering Ginetta though it was a man.

Shaw: I won't ditch the diamond

Have to say that he appears to speak with a lot more intelligence than Andy Thorn ever did. Shaw comes across really well in this article.

    City on the telly? (again)

If we had been at home, then yes we would have been in with a chance, but Arsenal away? No chance at all I'm afraid. Loads of ties there that will be way ahead of us in the pecking order. Man Utd v Newcastle MK Dons v Sunderland West Brom v Liverpool Crawley v Swansea Carlisle v...

    Paul dickov

Cheers for that. As you can gauge on here, we don't want him here as our next manager.
