The pies and pasty issue - the plot thickens

hot food has been withdrawn to take the focus off of something more sinister that is happening?! Fucking hell!

The pies and pasty issue - the plot thickens

I'm in agreement Torch, and I'd like that perception to change because ACL/wasps et al get a ridiculously free ride from many. Just seems to me that sisu themselves aren't really too bothered. Leaves the likes of me and you banging our heads against a brick wall with everyone's position...

Another Nice..but this time in Berlin

I'm not saying any of that, I'm saying the tories and the right in general are in the process of implementing policies that cause real harm, a bit of sabre rattling by the left wing isn't really comparable in term of the harm caused. But the right wing also have a (largely) compliant press to...

The pies and pasty issue - the plot thickens

that's why I was saying earlier they could have backed it up with some sort of gesture, sent someone into corporate to talk to the fans and hammer home the message that ACL are at fault, (the CET aren't going to print that story for sure). It's like they're not really that fussed, there's a...

Another Nice..but this time in Berlin

your whole argument seems to be based around stuff written on social media and the internet where as my hatred of the tories stems from actions and policies they've carried out which have resulted in causing people actual harm and distress.

The pies and pasty issue - the plot thickens

you're right Torch, but sisu themselves have to be a bit more proactive. A simple it's not our fault statement isn't going to cut it if they're serious about building bridges and changing the mindset of many towards the wasps/CCC/ACL cartel.

The pies and pasty issue - the plot thickens

I totally agree, but as I suggested earlier in the thread, why don't sisu make some sort of gesture to give them a bit of good PR and turn it back on compass or whoever is ultimately responsible. I think it's fair to say if the shoe was on the other foot compass/wasps would be off running to...

invading the pitch is a great work out.

The pies and pasty issue - the plot thickens

but that's irrelevant to an extent. Peoples match day experience has been eroded again. The club are haemorrhaging support. Fisher said he wants to build bridges, here was an opportunity. I'm sure there's something they could do, some sort of gesture which could have generated a bit of positive...

The pies and pasty issue - the plot thickens

At the moment people will just blame CCFC, you're right. So how do we move away from that culture? sisu have got to start playing the PR game and getting fans on side. Imagine if covboys original post had said that Fisher had come into the corporate, explained this was ACL and out of the clubs...

The pies and pasty issue - the plot thickens

No, but they could have covered the costs, even just for one game, they could have done something. People will see the headlines and assume it's sisus fault, (it may well be, I don't know the full ins and outs). Fisher said he wants to build bridges but I see no evidence of it even when an...

The pies and pasty issue - the plot thickens

it doesn't matter whose fault it is it still shows the disregard sisu have for the support. Even if it is down to ACL why not make sure everyone knows about it and step in to provide food at their own cost? They're talking about building bridges, well this was an opportunity. They go on about...

    Football club ownership

Decent article. We get the obligatory mention. Didn't know the stuff about Billy Davies cousin at Forest: Football clubs suffering as owners experiment with chaos theory If we are going to be generous, it is fair to assume Diego Lemos must have a few stories that have been passed down through...

The only way to hurt sisu

which is why I think they're stuck between a rock and a hard place. What's going on at the minute is damaging their reputation but they can't write off the 28 million or however much it is which has been converted into shares - I think if they could come up with a face saving way out they'd be gone.

Thought all other councils help and want their football clubs?

Put aside the Ricoh affair, CCFC and wasps for a moment and the council are still the most useless bunch of self serving short sighted fuck wits you'll ever encounter, proud of them, FFS!!

Match Thread Coventry v Brighton U21 Match Thread - Tuesday 10th Jan

I tend to agree, the team they pick for todays cup tie against MK Dons might give us a few indicators towards their intentions. If they rest players today I can't see them throwing anyone in on Tuesday.
