Surely the ideal scenario right now for the fans is a rent reduction of the Ricoh for the club. That way Sisu don't get their hands on part of the Ricoh and also the club becomes a more appetising proposition for any potential buyer. I'm talking entirely short term here.

Would have much preferred Adam Johnson than Downing. Someone posted on GMK the other day that Downing's stats say he has had not one single assist all season for Liverpool. Downing is not international standard. Yep, sure, Adam Johnson is a bit hit and miss and not possibly quite up to it...

Even though they are both very young I think both Walker and Wilshere could have been very big players for us in this competition. Such a shame both will be missing.

Happy Anniversary! This time 25 years ago I was waking up in London to tea and toast and getting ready to set off. Was so keen I arrived at Wembley far too early and was at the stadium at 10 a.m. Had to cool my heels for about 3 and half hours and sit watching tumbleweed. :pointlaugh:
